Joseph just lost his sister Patty Bester 3 days ago. Prayers are needed for him and his family.

The DuPuis House management has graciously said we can use the Dupuis House. Our Inipi will be Nov 21, 2021, from 1-5. Please bring a dish to pass for the feast. Please bring sage and tobacco, and a bundle of string 100 % cotton, tobacco, and square cloth prayer ties ½ to 2 inchs,100 % cotton, four colors of fabric are traditionally used when making prayer ties. Red is made the most for prayer ties. Prayer ties are to represent the four directions or the four winds east (yellow), south (red), west (black), and north (white).
Please have your prayer ties done before you come or come early to learn how. If you don’t know how to do prayer ties, Joseph, or someone else will teach you.
Show up by 1:00pm, Inipi is at 2:00pm sharp! If you don’t go to Inipi that’s fine. Come, and support the Mendota Community & Joseph. You can help with the feast and setting up and help Sharon.
Please wear a mask if you have not had your covid shots.
Women, please wear skirts, bring a towel. Women cannot be on their moons, their periods.
Men wear shorts and need a towel.

Mendota has been having our annual toy drive for 27 years. We added a gift card after covid hit. You can bring them tomorrow Sunday and save a trip to Sharon’s home. You can put the gift cards in the mail too. Ask Sharon for her address.
