We will be building a new lodge over the next two Saturdays starting with taking down the old one this Saturday, tomorrow, and re-digging the holes. We will start at 10:00 AM and probably finish the first stage around 2:00 PM tomorrow.
Next Saturday October 7th we will meet in the lot of the DuPuis House at 10:00 AM and convoy to Fort Snelling State Park to harvest the Willow. We will probably return to the DuPuis House around 1:00 PM and begin erecting the new lodge.
We need every single person that can help for even an hour or two. Please reply to sender only, not – reply to all, with when you can be there.
If everything goes well we will be on track to have our monthly Inipi Ceremony on the 2nd Saturday of the month, October 14th. Probably light the fire around 11:00 AM and go in the lodge around 1:00 or 2:00 PM. Always check the website for the latest update: MendotaDakota.com
