Good morning everyone, the pow wow is only 20 days away and still lots of work to do.
Donation suggestions again, we are thinking gas cards, or visa cards are always good for donations.
People keep emailing and asking what to donate?
Taking donations for pop for the pow wow, you can bring pop to the meeting tomorrow Monday Sept 26, at 6pm at the DuPuis House. ANY KIND OF POP.
We will not be having our history panels this year that we had for a last few years.
Instead we are having what we have accomplished over the last 25 years.
Like pow wow pictures, flyers, newsletters, what we have participated and accomplish, many newspaper articles, pow wow buttons, of our proud Dakota Heritage.
We will have videos of all of our pow wows, videos of Jimmy etc.
We will be streaming the pow wow this year so the whole world can see us celebrating our Traditions.
There was and is a lot of work in just getting this all organized could use help with this. If you can come to my house that would be great let me know I live in Apple Valley.
I will send pictures of my office down stair and my family room of all Mendota stuff.
We have hundreds of pictures, still looking for more. If you put them together that would help me a lot.
Looking for pictures of Jimmy for the funeral, the family will have picture we would like more if you have the time and want to share.
If you want your family pictures or any stories to display you have to do your own pictures, and send to Sharon. I have been asking for pictures for months.
This is a job for 4 people to set and greet and welcome people have them sign in. Maybe this will be a good way to see if people want to become an honorary member?

We made a big sign with all our original families on it, that will be on the Pidamaya/ Welcome Canopy. The canopy will be enclosed on 3 sides if windy.

Once we get the pods empty on Sept 9, and 10, we will have room for donations and they will be locked up. NEED HELP SETTING UP email the volunteer calling committee.
