Inipi will be Sat July 15th. We had to reschedule because of Mendota Days.

On July 8^th Sibley Memorial HWY will be closed from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM due to the parade and other events for Mendota Days. This road closure would impact the Mendota Dakota’s ability to access the site to start a fire at 2:00 PM. With this in mind I would be happy to make available July 15^th or July 29^th instead of July 8^th for an Inipi Ceremony. I apologize for the short notice as I just got back from vacation. If there are any questions or concerns please let me know.
