Desperate, nearly third world conditions inside the United States are often overlooked.  Native Americans are plauged with poverty, hunger and despair. Children are often left poorly clothed and unfed. Their cries of despair frequently fall on deaf ears. WER understands the desperate conditions that many Native Americans are forced to live in, and is dedicated to improving them. Our work on the Navajo Reservation is part of WER’s “Embraceable Communities” strategy to help children worldwide.
