Mendota’s next Inipi is March 8th. Fire starts at11:00am, Inipi around 2:00ish. Please bring a dish to pass for the feast.

March 8th is a Saturday. All Inipis are on a Saturdays. Unless the Inipi gets changed for some reason. Always check Mendota’s website mendotadakota.com or watch for emails.

At the DuPuis House 1357 Sibley Memorial Hwy, Mendota, MN 55150. Across from Lucky’s.

The DuPuis House is our ancestors House of Hypolite Dupuis & Angelique Renville.  The 3rd grandparents to Mendota’s Chairwomen Sharon Lennartson. And many other members in the Mendota Community. Just a little Mendota History! 

Woman need to wear a skirt or dress and you need a towel. You can not be on your moon or period.

Please have your prayer ties ready. If you don’t know how to do prayers someone will teach you. Come early to learn how to do prayer ties.

Men wear shorts and need a towel.

Purification ceremonies are often extremely transforming and offer us a chance to rebirth ourselves in a new way. In this guided practice, Dakota takes you through a virtual Inipi (Sweat Lodge) ceremony. Using traditional Dakota Inipi songs, sound effects to enhance your experience, and with a powerful intention to assist you in this time of purification, this journey will become a powerful tool for you to use time and time again.
