Mendota will be having a class to build and put up a tipi.

Mendota will be having a class on how to put up a tipi. Bill White a retired Eagan police officer got our tipi poles for us when he was up north. That was so very kind and considerate of him. The poles need to be treated soon. Now is a good time to learn how to put up a tipi. Next Thursday July 21st at 1:00pm. We will have our first teaching class on how to set up a tipi, clean and prepare the tipi poles. Come join us at the DuPuis House in Mendota Mn 55150.
e temporary tipi by the Inipi. We will build the tipi a few times, build it, take it down, rebuild etc. This is part of a grant we have received.
We need tipis at our powwow on Sept 9-11-22 at St Peters Church.
Please reply asap if you want to be part of the Dakota teaching class.
