Mendota Mdewakanton Dakota Tribal Community have to move. The office has mold the owner will not fix it. He is selling the building we are in. Once he sells, we must move anyway. My cancer doctor said I have stay away, do not go to the office, a little mold is to much mold. No one should go to the office.
We need to move in Eagan somewhere with affordable rent. May be a house in a commercial area to have our office. Mendota is a 501C3 we should get a reduced rent. We need 1,000 sq ft and no more then $1,0000 a month that really pushing it. Our rent is $500 now. The ceiling is leaking again. They remove the mold 3 years ago. The place looks like it did 3 years ago again. I heard a week ago that the whole building has mold. None of us were told there was mold and has been mold there for years in that building. We were not told that ever! Mendota would not have rented that space. We are asking our members and honorary members to help to decide what to do and where to go.
