Angelique Winona Renville was born in 1806 in Kaposia Village in MN.

Sharon Lennartson the tribal chair, is the ggranddaughter to Angelique and Hypolite Dupuis. There are many other members of MMDTC who share the same ancestry.

Angelique Winona RENVILLE was born in 1806 in Kaposia Village near Fort Snelling, Minnesota, USA. She died on 3 Jan 1890 in Mendota, Dakota County, Minnesota, USA. She was also known as Agatha We Oui Nar Xha (Red Woman). She was 1/2 blood Dakota Indian.

Angelique Winona RENVILLE and Hypolite DUPUIS were married on 11 Jan 1839 in Lac Qui Parle, Minnesota, USA. Hypolite DUPUIS (son of Michel DUPUIS and Marie Louise DENAULT) was born in 1807 in LaPrairie de la Madeleine (near Montreal), Lower Canada. He in 1830 in Lac Qui Parle, Minnesota, USA. He lived in Mendota, Dakota County, Minnesota, USA in 1840. He built the brick house in which Sibley Historic Site offices are today in 1854 in Mendota, Dakota County, Minnesota, USA. Angelique Winona RENVILLE and Hypolite DUPUIS had 8 children.
