As many of you may already know I have worked in the pet community for many years. I have worked with and supported many nonprofit & volunteer based humane organizations. For the most part these groups receive pet food donations that meet and or exceede their feeding needs. If you find one in your area that you feel is worthy, donate if you can, volunteer if you are able, but make sure their mission aligns with your personal philosophy on animal/human relationships. Clicking on theanimalrescuesite.com WILL NOT benefit any local shelters or rescue groups. Clicking on this site will finacially benifit the owner of the site and ANIMAL RIGHTS groups.
By clicking on this site you are supporting animal rights groups. Their agendas include No pet ownership, and No eating of meat, and No fishing among other things. If this is your personal agenda click away, if you enjoy keeping a cat or dog around, or intend to grill and enjoy a juicy burger this coming weekend, then you probably do not want to support animal rights groups that have agendas with the intent of changing how you choose to live. The groups listed on this website are also opposed to the use of body parts (feathers, wings, skins, claws, ect) for cultural and religious purposes. What they are not opposed to is getting as much money as they can with what some would consider as deceptive practices.
Gives one somthing to think about.
