Wilson, Garrett Kenneth 79, “Tabdoka Sapa Itokab Najin Sni” Beloved Sisseton Dakota Elder and one of the last 8 Dakota, first-language speakers in MN. Boarding school survivor. Wounded Korean veteran. Last of 13 children of Obed Wopeton Hanska Mazakaga Wilson and Rose Wahca Red Day. President/ founding member of All Nations Indian Church. Former president of Council of American Indian Ministries. Retired engineer & pow wow dancer. Survived by wife, Lynne Young; son, Jim Rock (Roxanne) and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Memorial held 4 pm Wednesday Dec. 29 at All Nations Indian Church 1515 E. 23rd St. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to All Nations Indian Church.
