We need your help! Olivia Lone Bear, is missing.

We are writing with a serious and heavy heart to ask for your help. Matthew Lone Bear’s sister, Olivia Lone Bear, is missing. Veterans For Peace had the great honor working with Matthew at Standing Rock.

From Matthew Lone Bear:   “701-595-3114 is my number, have them text me. Identify themselves. I’m making a debriefing of the situation and the landscape. Cities involved. All that. So they don’t come in blind.”  Matt is the point person and people who can help search need to connect with him this way.

Greetings,

We are writing with a serious and heavy heart to ask for your help.  Matthew Lone Bear’s sister, Olivia Lone Bear, is missing.   Veterans For Peace had the great honor working with Matthew at Standing Rock.  Some of you may recall his participation in our annual convention this year in Chicago, where he traveled to participate in and educate members about the ongoing work of the indigenious people’s struggle at Standing Rock.

We are reaching out, at his request, to everyone for help in the search.  We’ve attached the missing poster and ask that you all share with friends and family, in hopes of locating Olivia.  If you have any information, recognize or see Olivia, please call: 701-627-3617 or 701-421-0784

A note from Matthew:

We also are looking to have a larger search party this weekend.  Medical personnel and boots on the ground would be appreciated.  Rooms, water, and food are available for volunteers.

Be advised it is snowing here and I’ve seen temps here at around freezing… if they can bring their own winter gear, would be appreciated.

I saw the look on people’s faces when I had mentioned that VFP will post info.  That was nice to see that.  Thank you so much for this effort.”
