Many members need to fill out the new application, it is on our website under downloads. The new application includes a new ancestry chart and individual history chart from the Office of Federal Acknowledgment. Our new application is 7 pages. For those who already sent in your ancestry chart & individual history chart, you do not need to send them in again. These can be found on our website at www.mendotadakota.com
Just mail your application normally, no need for rush delivery.
Sorry for all this extra work but it must be done if we want federal recognition. Thank you for your cooperation. There is NO application fee for new applications for current members.
Our application has changed 4 times in 20 years. Remember we are working with the Office of Federal Acknowledgment everything must be correct and accurate.
Everyone must also have a Certified Birth Certificate.
