UNVEILING AND DEDICATION OF MURAL
This mural project was conceived of and produced under the leadership and guidance of Annette Jimenez (Annie Humphrey) by the Turtle Heart youth from the Ball Club, Minnesota area. The project was made possible by a grant from the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian Native Arts Program. The Youth Public Art project is part of the program’s leadership development curriculum that seeks to inspire and enable others to be their best. Annie, Turtle Heart and the NMAI Staff hope you will add your support to this final phase of the project by joining them for the unveiling and dedication of the mural to the community. For more information or directions to the event, please email Annie at sl3bay@yahoo.com.
For more information about the NMAI’s Youth Public Art Project, contact Leonda Levchuk, Public Affairs at 202-633-6613.
