PEACE & DIGNITY RUN – Minnesota Run, June 25-June 28, 2008
The Peace & Dignity Runners are coming in from Canada on Wednesday, June 25th morning, coming in from a stay over at the Roseau River First Nations, crossing the Canada-US "Medicine Line Border". These runners left Eklutna, Alaska on May 1, 2008. On Wednesday late afternoon they will get to Red Lake Nation. On Thursday, they will be in Bemidji taking part in the 7th Annual Healing Pow-Wow at the Bemidji North Country Regional Hospital and then run to the Mississippi Headwaters at Lake Itasca. On Friday morning they will proceed to run to White Earth and on to Sisseton-Wahpeton Dakota territories.
